   Ed: Rick Couto, aside from playing drums on one of the tunes for Big Book Of Love, was also recruited to be the graphics designer for my CDs. Talented guy! He was the one who took a pile of the photos I had taken, a heap of Dana Gumley's drawings, and a mountain of my lyrics and liner notes and put together the pages for the CD inserts on both Big Book Of Love and Wrong Side Of The Door; no small task. 

   Rick, after putting in the years of hard work with Blazing Graphics and others, has decided to strike out on his own with a new company called ORANGE DOT DESIGN, based in Riverside, Rhode Island. Rick and Orange Dot have done a number of CD covers as well as other design projects. Here are a few pages from the Orange Dot catalog - each page will open in a new window:

   Ed: Dana Gumley is an extraordinarily gifted artist. She is a sculptress with works on display in Provincetown and Wellfleet, Massachusetts and elsewhere. She runs Dana Gumley Picture Frame in North Eastham, Massachusetts. Dana is the photographer who took the photo portrait of me on the back covers of Big Book Of Love and Wrong Side Of The Door. And it was Dana's series of unique and lovely drawings that caught my eye when I was thinking about the artwork that I would like to have for the "lyrics" pages in the CD booklets. Wow, what a perfect match it turned out to be. Owners of my CDs would get the bonus of this gallery of beautiful, haunting drawings by artist Dana Gumley. Thank you, Dana! But more than anything else, thank you for our enduring friendship through the years. How many has it been? (I won't tell if you won't.)
